Debra Ethier
Debra Ethier raised her family in Bellingham, WA, where she worked for 20 years in Oncology as a Radiation Therapist and received a bachelor’s degree in leadership from Trinity Western University. Debra is also a certified yoga teacher and taught for several years in the Seattle area.
She then worked for Alaska Airlines as an auditor and managing airports in Bellingham, Barrow, and Cordova, AK. She became interested in EMS and Emergency Response in Cordova, where she was certified as an Emergency Trauma Technician and Search and Rescue responder.
After moving to the Olympic Peninsula in 2020, she became a national and state certified EMT while with Discovery Bay Fire and then joined Quilcene Fire in 2024 to volunteer with the CARES program.
Debra also works part-time at Jefferson Health Care, where she is a Health Unit Coordinator and Telemetry Technician. She worked as a Medical Assistant at the local urology clinic and is phlebotomy and telemetry certified.
With two grandchildren, 4 cats, 2 dogs, 15 chickens and 12-acres, Debra and her husband, Chip, are always busy. Hiking, backpacking, gardening, and yoga fit in as time allows.
Excited to be part of the Quilcene Fire CARES program, Debra is enjoying the opportunity to help her neighbors in Discovery Bay, Quilcene, and Brinnon.
