Tyson Svetich was born and raised in Quilcene and graduated from Quilcene High School in 2013. During and after high school, Tyson worked for several local businesses, and in 2015 he started working at 7 Cedars Casino, where he still works part-time as a member of the landscaping crew. In 2012 on Tyson’s 18th birthday, he joined Quilcene Fire Recuse as a Volunteer Firefighter after 2 years as a Cadet. Then in 2023 Tyson was hired as a career Firefighter/EMT. He worked on C-Shift until March of 2024 when he was transferred to A-shift where he works today.
